As part of the Vocational Training program, student/employees are placed in work based learning opportunities with area businesses to learn valuable on the job training.
Advanced Training Opportunities

TCU - training for transportation related employment, operated by the Transportation Communications International Union. Amtrak, the Norfolk Southern Railway, CSX Transportation, the Canadian Pacific Railroad, the Union Pacific Railroad, Teletech, AT&T, and a host of local and national employers of skilled clerical staff, regularly hire graduates of the Excelsior Springs TCU Advanced Transportation & Clerical Training Program. |

Education Opportunities

High School diploma program. The Excelsior Springs Job Corps is the home of the Excelsior Springs Technical High School - operated under the supervision of the Excelsior Springs School District. Students older than 21 years of age do not qualify for high school program. |

Job Placement Assistance - a full career development staff is available to assist graduating students transitioning into the workforce after completing the Job Corps program. The staff follows up with these graduates for up to twelve months after initial job placement. |
