JOB VACANCIES:
MEDICAL/DENTAL RECORDS CLERK
Full Time Position
Excelsior Springs Location
General Function:
Maintains medical records of all students. Assists
Center Medical and Dental staff by performing
clerical duties. Accumulates data and prepares
reports, prepares purchase orders and assists the
Manager of Wellness in arranging follow-up
care of students.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Further
coursework is secretarial science required. One
year experience required with prior experience in a
medical setting desired. Must be able to
transcribe from Dictaphone and be able to type 40
cwpm. - OR - Education and experience above the
high school level may be combined to meet the
minimum requirements for this position. One year
of college education may be substituted for two
years of Job Corps experience in a similar areas.
Valid driver's license required.

RECREATION SPECIALIST
Full Time Position
Excelsior Springs Location
General Function:
Supervises student recreation activites. Organizes
and participates in instramural sports.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree with a concentration in Recreation,
Physical Education, or Health Education is
preferred and experience in a recreational program
which provides services to disadvantaged youth or
related areas is also preferred. - OR - An Associate
Degree with a concentration in Recreation, Physical
Education or Health Education and four years of
related experience is required; experience in a
recreational program which provides services to
disadvantaged youth or related areas is preferred.
Valid driver's license required.

DRIVER EDUCATION INSTRUCTOR
Full Time Position
Excelsior Springs Location
General Function:
Functions as an Driver Education Instructor in an
classroom setting, providing instruction in
driver education theory and application. Facilitates
learning experiences in highway transportation
system, pre-driving checks and procedures; basic
maneuvers; decision making, driving laws, highway
conditions; vehicle performace; system failtures;
drivers' performance; and career opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications:
A Bacelor Degree and two years of teaching experience
teaching at risk or culturally deprived youth is
preferred - OR - Above the high school level one
year of college education may be substituted for two
years of Job Corps experience and vice versa. A State
Teacher Certificate is required. Valid regular
driver's license required.

RESIDENTIAL ADVISOR
Full Time Position

General Function:
Provides guidance, direction and supervision to
students in the assigned dormitory. Assists students
in their academic, vocational, social development
and employability.
Minimum Qualifications:
A high school diploma or GED equivalent and one year
of experience working in a residential setting is
required. Note: Some college course work is preferred.
Valid driver's license required.

SECURITY OFFICER

Implements the policies and procedures required for
Center Security in a humanistic and professional
manner. Secures from harm, theft or misuse of the
grounds, property, students and personnel of the
Center.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent with one
year experience required in military/industrial
security, fire prevention or law enforcement.
Associate's Degree preferred now required.
Valid driver's license required.
